Thanksgiving Table Setting

This is a beautiful table decor idea. You’ll want to buy the fill material, the glasses, and the candlesticks ahead of time and do the gluing a few days before, but save a little time on Thanksgiving morning to gather the natural materials. http://blogntell.blogspot.com/2009/11/simple-and-cheap-thanksgiving-table.html

(Check This to That for suggestions for gluing glass to glass. )

Another great idea using some store-bought elements and some natural elements: http://www.skiptomylou.org/2009/11/14/thinking-about-thanksgiving/ While you’ll want to pick up the pumpkins when you do your grocery shopping, autumn leaves can be hard to come by at Thanksgiving time in some places. My chance to get leaves probably ended on Saturday when we got a foot of snow here, so stock up soon!

Here are some printable placecards from Martha Stewart: http://www.marthastewart.com/article/thanksgiving-clip-art-place-cards I find the design pretty austere, but you could always color it if you wanted to.
