Let’s talk wreaths. For me the iconic wreath is pine, with red ornaments and tinsel or raffia. This wreath is, in my mind, absolutely gorgeous. And it’s a great wreath, but it’s a very narrow vision of what a wreath can be. Here are some of my favorite wreaths that you can make in one evening:
The Festive Felt Wreath from Savers (PDF.) This would be a great way to use up felted sweaters, but you could also buy felt, and I would also like to try this in craft foam.
Button Wreaths. So cute, so easy to personalize, such a great way to use up spare buttons! (From Craftaplooza.)
The Faux Feather Wreath. I think that you could use this same concept by printing out stars, hearts, ornaments, or using your die-cutting technology of choice. (Via the Storque.)
