First of all, I’d like to ask you a question. How often do you read the blogs that you follow? I was originally planning on writing posts on weekdays, but if people enjoy reading on the weekends I’d be happy to post on the weekend as well. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think, or email me at fastercraft (at) gmail (dot) com. Thanks!

Let’s talk wreaths. For me the iconic wreath is pine, with red ornaments and tinsel or raffia. This wreath is, in my mind, absolutely gorgeous. And it’s a great wreath, but it’s a very narrow vision of what a wreath can be. Here are some of my favorite wreaths that you can make in one evening:

The Festive Felt Wreath from Savers (PDF.) This would be a great way to use up felted sweaters, but you could also buy felt, and I would also like to try this in craft foam.

Button Wreaths. So cute, so easy to personalize, such a great way to use up spare buttons! (From Craftaplooza.)

The Faux Feather Wreath. I think that you could use this same concept by printing out stars, hearts, ornaments, or using your die-cutting technology of choice. (Via the Storque.)

I loved that Craftapalooza wreath, too!
