While I’ve never officially verified it, it certainly seems to me that the most common New Year’s Resolutions involve weight loss, nutrition, and exercise. I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out how to use my crafting skills to help with those goals.
Laura at WhipUp has a fun system for tracking your progress on your resolutions. Her system is designed especially for the whole family to do together, which seems really fun.
One of the best ways to know where you stand, fitness wise, is to post a record of your workouts where you workout, so that you can see at a glance what you’ve done recently and the frequency. The Project Girl, Jen Allyson, has a workout worksheet that lets you track your cardio, strength, and frequency.
Speaking of posting reminders publicly, my friend Kristina (who is not, by any means fat) has just posted a downloadable menu planner worksheet.
Have you thought about creating a notebook for your goals? You could take these printable sheets, some notebook paper, and a collage of images that remind you why you want to improve your body.
