We now take a short break from our regularly scheduled holiday talk to point you at a great new eBook. (If you’re in full-on holiday mode, scroll down for the next two and their coupon codes.)

knittnkitten

I love my hometown, but when I read about the bookstores, the restaurants, and especially the craft scene in Portland, Oregon, I feel green with envy. One of the things that convinced me that it was my kind of town is when I heard of Knittn’ Kitten, a craft thrift store. A thrift store. Just for craft supplies. What could be cooler than that? A group of their talented fans has put together a (free!) eBook filled with great project ideas using materials from the store. Check it out here, and if you find yourself in Portland, please stop in.

While we’re on the subject of eBooks, and I’m back to thinking about the holidays (didn’t take long, did it?) let’s talk about two others.

CraftyTreeTrimmingsCover

The first is another than can be found at the Craftypod eBook store, until December 31. It’s called Crafty Tree Trimmings. It contains 6 projects, each by a different crafter, and in the true spirit of the season they are donating part of the proceeds to Project Linus. And, in very exciting news, they are offering a $3.00 discount when you use the coupon code FORLINUS. This eBook is only available until December 31, so don’t wait.

vintagecover

The last is an absolutely darling eBook from Ella Publishing. Vintage Hip Christmas Crafts. This gorgeous eBook contains 9 holiday projects, ranging from super simple to “artsy fartsy.” Even the artsy projects could still be done in one evening. I love the wreath! And there’s a 25% discount that you can get by entering CRAFTY09 at checkout through December 13th.

25% off that title by entering CRAFTY09 at checkout
through 12.13
